Welcome
The true Christian life is a very lonely life in this world1. Maybe it
is because true religion is inward, only God can see the heart, men
can only guess at what a person is really like, so the Christian gets
misunderstood2.
Maybe it is because there are so many hypocrites in the church who
profess Christianity but have never had a new heart put within them,
and do not have a real relationship with God at all3. Maybe it
is because so few people seem to have had the heart change
which only God can give and which produces a real, fundamental change
of life4.
Maybe it is because so many churchgoers claim to be "Bible-believing"
but they are all so ignorant about what the Bible actually teaches5. Maybe it
is because the sin that is in the world around us, and indeed is
still within ourselves and which doth so easily beset us, drags us
down all the time, and no-one else, not even other professing
Christians, seem to understand because they don't like to admit their
own wretchedness6.
Whichever of these is the reason for the loneliness of the true
Christian here in the vale of tears which is this world (and I believe
it is all of them and more), the fact remains that the true Christian
is a stranger and pilgrim on this earth. His real home is in heaven7.
With this in mind, this website has been produced to help the true
believer through the vanity which is this present evil world
and to help him or her on the way to the far better place above,
where Christ is and where righteousness dwells. What a sure hope the
Christian has!8
1"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Matthew 7:13,14.
2"The LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7.
3"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness." Matthew 23:27.
4"Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3.
"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." 1 Peter 1:23.

5"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." 2 Timothy 3:1-5.

7"These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city." Hebrews 11:13-16.
"For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:17,18.
"If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God." Colossians 3:1-3.

"Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness." 2 Peter 3:13.
"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were
not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if
I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you
unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." John
14:2,3.
